October's Beauty Overhaul

Every month we will feature 5 beauty products we love and have tested out for ourselves. You may have some in your beauty arsenal already but hopefully, some of the picks you've never heard of.

Nivea - German Version

We found this at our local German grocery store. This version of Nivea has the cleanest and freshest scent. And it absorbs well into your skin. Up to standard like any Nivea product.

May Coop Raw Sauce

This cult classic does live up to its hype. Formulated with maple tree sap, this moisturizing and non-sticky essence makes your skin glow but not greasy. And no, the sauce doesn't smell like maple, but it's pleasantly sweet. The consistency is a little thick, but it is amazing, even for the oiliest of skins. Use it after cleansing and toning, with your fingers or a cotton pad. Because this special sauce is an essence, serum and emulsion all in one so the $43 price tag makes it worth it.

First Aid 5 in 1 Bouncy Mask

This gel mask plumps up your skin while giving you a dewy finish. It contains a generous amount of skin-refining ingredients, including rose bud extract, Vitamin C and marine botanicals. You are supposed to use this mask for 10 minutes, but we've left it on overnight with incredible results. Your skin will appear brighter and firmer. It's a facial in a jar.

Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight

This cream highlighter is incredibly easy to apply and blend. You can throw it in your bag to achieve a healthy sculpted glow anytime you want. Plus, it stays on longer than most highlighters we've tried.

Glossier Boy Brow

We cannot emphasize how much we love this brow gel. Like many gels, it keeps your hairs in place. However, it helps to thicken the appearance of your brows without looking overdone. We were not all born with great brows like Cara Delevingne or Brooke Shields, but with Boy Brow, we can come close to naturally looking thick brows.
